GCGC Club Championships
Our annual GCGC Club Championships are back for 2026!
This special event is all about celebrating the unity of our club — bringing our community together to uplift and support one another. Athletes from both our Recreational and Competitive pathways will take to the floor, showcasing their skills, hard work and progress throughout the year.
It will be an exciting weekend as our gymnasts compete for the title of 2026 Gold Coast Gymnastics Club Champion!
Commonwealth Team Challenge: Saturday August 1st from 5:15pm
Come and watch our Senior athletes compete in our Commonwealth Team Challenge.
The teams are made up of athletes from MAG, WAG and Tumbling, giving everyone the chance to work together alongside their Chef de Mission to earn points for their country.
And the grand prize… the winning team will receive tickets to see Cirque du Soleil!
Team Format

Each team will rotate around the competition together as a country, supporting and cheering each other on throughout the event.
Each rotation will have two apparatus running for one country
- Vault (MAG & WAG) & Tumble Track/ Rod Floor (TUM)
- Uneven Bars (WAG) & the choice of High Bar or Rings (MAG)
- Beam (WAG) & the choice of Parallel Bars or Pommel Horse (MAG)
- Floor (WAG & MAG)
The following scores will count towards the overall team total on each rotation:
- Top 2 WAG scores on each apparatus
- Top 1 MAG scores on each apparatus
- Top 1 Tumbling scores
The team with the highest overall score at the end of the competition will be crowned our inaugural Commonwealth Team Challenge Champions!
Joker Cards
- Each team will receive one Joker Card per rotation.
- The Joker Card can be played on one athlete’s score, doubling that score for the team’s total.
- The catch? You cannot use the Joker Card on the same athlete more than once throughout the competition, so we will get to see the teams work together to decide the best time to play it!
