With 8 Days to go, we say goodbye and good luck to our very own Technical Director, Trish Hade as she sets off for Paris to officiate in the 2024 Olympic Games. Trish has been selected to judge as part of the Olympic Judging Committee and will represent Australia as a lead technical official in WAG Gymnastics. An incredible achievement!

Trish has been involved in the sport for a number of years and has a wealth of experience in gymnastics and officiating and has judged at both the 2016 Rio and 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. A fun fact also about Trish is that she has judged at all World Championships since 2014 as well as the last four Commonwealth Games!! This is another fantastic accomplishment for Trish and signifies her stature in the sport.

 

We are all delighted for Trish and although we are reluctant to let her go given that we also have some big upcoming events taking place, we have granted special allowances to the IOC to loan her services our for this event only!!….She will be back! 😊

 

We couldn’t be prouder of you Trish and know you will represent the club and the Nation well. Look out for some ‘Trish on Tour’ video blogs in the next few weeks as she keeps us informed from inside the camp!

 

Look out also for Australian Olympian Logan Martin (Husband of Kim Martin, WAG Team Lead) as he looks to defend his title and go for gold in the Men’s BMX competition. We will be cheering on for sure!
